Brought to you by the MetaXSeed gaming studio, the new Blockchain based game called Age of Dragons is coming to you. In this post I’m going to tell you all about it and show you a demo of the game in one of my videos.

Background

Before we jump into the game itself, let me quickly give you a rundown on what the game is about. Age of Dragons is a Blockchain based game that’s being incubated by MetaXSeed. This is a game development studio and a while ago I made a dedicated video on it. I’ll be sure to link that at the end of this post and encourage you to check it out. Age of Dragons is set in a mythical world that’s based on medieval times.

The game

The game consists of 5 kingdoms that players can explore. Each kingdom is unique and has its own resources, cultures, wealth and strength. Age of Dragons is set on an island called Dracia and those kingdoms are called North, Mercy, Kings Land, West Land and Sand Land. Besides these kingdoms, they also have two magical places in which zombies and dragons live. One lives in the frozen land, the other in dragon land.

The game isn’t just about exploring land, instead, there are many other things you can do like battling zombies, breed and ride dragons, collect eggs and potions, get new weapons and finally build an army to fight against the zombies.

Characters

The game has three main characters which are Sean Winter, Zombie King and Rey Valerio.

The Sean Winter character is one of the remaining people with dragon blood running through his veigns, and Zombie King is a character that has dark magical powers. Then the final character Rey Valerio has pure dragon blood in her veigns. All characters have more to it and you can read up on that on the official Age of Dragons website which I’ll link down below. The background story of the game begins a long time ago when magic was the way of life on earth. Among humans lived ancient creatures who looked like humans but they lived in the wild. They were called the ‘Green Keepers’ and they kept the peace between humans and the dark mystical beings called the ‘Shadow men’. The Shadow Men were sorcerers of dark magic and they had a century-long rivalry with humans.

Right, now that we’ve talked a little bit about the background of the game and its characters, it’s time to show you actually footage of the game itself!

Final thoughts

I never expected a Blockchain game to look this good and be this fun to play. There are a couple of things that could improve obviously like the ability to lock on to your target because right now I was hacking and slashing away and sometimes not hitting a target. However, that being said I’m very impressed and can definitely see myself play this game. Especially if it pays me in the process since it’s a play to earn game. Don’t forget, the footage you’ve just seen is only the demo. Which means that us the community is actually being encouraged to provide them with as much feedback as possible.
